HSR New Life Weight Loss Programs
HSR New Life Weight Loss Programs — a family of programs from which you can chose!
Whatever kind of diet you are looking for, we have one for you to lose weight: meal replacements, portion control, appetite supplements, hormone-stabilizing, hunger and cravings control—it’s up to you.
We have two clinically proven weight loss programs with over 30 years of research supporting them. Each one has an initial rapid loss phase, followed by maintenance during which we teach you how to eat healthfully. The diets make use of vitamin B12 and natural ingredients designed to make you feel fuller, decrease your appetite, and increase metabolism (fat burning). You will lose 2-4 pounds per week, depending upon details, which are customized to you.
SO YOU FINALLY, REALLY, SERIOUSLY, AND FOREVER WANT TO LOSE THAT WEIGHT? WELCOME TO OUR PROGRAMS…

Before picture
Many people are overweight due to poor lifestyle habits and eating the wrong foods. In our fast-paced society, eating “fast foods”, due to lack of time, and sugary foods, sometimes to relieve stress, contribute to weight gain. Energy-dense diets with too much fat, food, and soft drinks definitely play a role in keeping our weights up. Eating poorly starves the body of vital nutrients we need to keep our immune system strong, fight infections, repair worn-out cells, produce hormones, nerve function, etc. Empty calories in sugary, fatty, and processed foods also deprive our bodies of vitamins, minerals, and basic building blocks such as amino acids to make proteins, such as enzymes. Despite taking in an excess of food, many overweight people are actually malnourished.
While debated, we do not view overweight as a “disease”, nor a result of anyone being at “fault” in conducting their lives. Rather, we see it as an adjustment that has to be made as a result of the pressures that modern society places upon us. Some researchers call it an “obesigenic environment.” Increasingly, public policies and the food industry have been held accountable. There is no denying that some people simply have a higher metabolism than others and stay thin despite what they eat. In fact, up to 50% of the tendency to gain weight may be genetically controlled.
WHAT ABOUT PILLS, SPECIAL FOODS, AND VERY LOW CALORIE DIETS?
Ultimately, you will need to change your eating habits and lifestyle to maintain a normal body weight. This is not as difficult as it seems, and we will help you with it. However, in the meantime, certain nutrients and supplements may be of benefit, giving you the encouragement and motivation necessary to make permanent changes. We assist you in developing healthy eating patterns as you progress in your program.
Our programs emphasize correct choices of food, proper eating habits, nutrition education, behavior modification, and correcting metabolic abnormalities. Sometimes food “toxicity” or allergy plays a part in overweight, which we identify. We also integrate the best features of popular diets into our programs, but in a healthy manner. If you are interested in this, please request our packet with information about food allergies and weight gain, which includes an audio CD.
Weight loss and maintenance of a normal weight can be achieved by proper eating habits, a minimum amount of activity, and a healthy lifestyle. Not only do we want you to be the right weight and look good, but be in optimum health–happy and strong. We believe peak physical, mental and spiritual health is not just the absence of disease, but something beyond, which can be attained by anyone, with a little motivation, guidance and direction.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
Fourteen diets that may be used for weight loss, and numerous supplements—pills or capsules—that may assist you in achieving your goals. We offer programs that use meal substitutes, such as shakes, puddings, soups, bars, oatmeal, and chili. There are many flavors available and a special line for diabetics. Or, we can incorporate use of real food that you prepare yourself from scratch, or fixed low-calorie, “defined” meals. We do not use prescription pills that are related to ephedrine, amphetamine, or any such compounds, which are habit forming, controlled or banned substances, that increase blood pressure, the incidence of stroke, make people nervous, irritable, jittery and interfere with sleep. We offer OTC dietary, natural pills, capsules, and liquids that are classified as agents that make your brain think you are full, expand in the stomach and make you feel full, block absorption of carbohydrates and/or fats, raise metabolic rate, decrease inflammation, and act in still other, different, safe, but effective ways. We constantly search the medical literature to find new approaches to weight loss through supplements. For instance, a new seaweed product has been released that lowers your weight adds to the ways we can help you lose those pounds. We also feature “special meals”, which are many steps beyond protein powders and “diet shakes”. While not restricted by need for a prescription, special meals contain specific amounts of pharmaceutical grade substances that normalize metabolism, decrease inflammation (which is associated with extra weight), lower blood pressure, adjust pH, etc.
Tell us about your particular health needs, and we will accommodate you. However, when we review your history, we automatically focus on your unique circumstances.
ABOUT MEAL REPLACEMENTS…
When a good deal of weight loss is desired, sometimes replacing regular meals with shakes, smoothies, bars, soups, puddings, oatmeal, and the like, is a very effective approach. Not only does this give you medical-quality high protein food supplements, fortified with vitamins and minerals for maximum and safe weight loss, but it removes you from old habits of consumption. This offers the opportunity of resetting your habits of food intake, and accelerating your weight loss. These are convenient, effective, can be soy-, milk- or rice-based, eliminate the need for separate vitamin and mineral expense, and have an exceptional proven clinical record at such outstanding medical centers as Johns Hopkins and the University of Vermont. We do not use a single brand, but rather the best in several for the content, flavor, and special ingredients you need. The preparations we use have a long history of success, superior protein formulation, and unique quality. You should not think of the old programs of 20 years ago—the methods we use are totally new and restyled. You do not go on a “liquid diet”, but rather use these as snacks or supplements to small meals containing regular food, which you can either prepare yourself or purchase at any supermarket. Defined meals limit portion size. When you visit, we will outline the various ways of incorporating these into your diet. This enables the most rapid weight loss that is safe and effective for your goals, proper spacing of meals to keep hunger suppressed, and inspires motivation to continue with the program and achieve success.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We take a careful health history, focusing on your present lifestyle, present eating pattern, weight goals, special needs, and other factors. We pay special attention to your experience with past diets, what was liked and disliked about them. We measure your body mass index (BMI), per cent body fat, per cent body water, muscle and bone mass, visceral fat, resting metabolic rate, the calorie intake you take in now (to support your present body weight), and give you your future calorie intake (number) necessary to lose the weight you desire. We can also measure your metabolic rate directly if needed.
We explore which diets might suit you best, giving you the advantages and disadvantages of each one. You participate in the decision of which program would benefit you most. If a diet does not match your preferences and needs, you will not follow it. We definitely want you to be successful, and know that a program has to work for you.
We then explain the particular program you will follow in detail, and give you printed instructions for your easy reference. You will be given a diet diary to complete, entering all foods and water you consume daily, which will be reviewed by our staff at weekly intervals, giving you practical suggestions on how to adjust your eating patterns to maximize weight loss.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Depending upon the program chosen, you will lose from 1-4 pounds per week. A loss of 2 pounds per week is ideal. When greater weight loss is needed, we arrange your diet accordingly. We strive for excellence and personal service.
